Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups sugar
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ cup butter softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cream butter and sugar until light.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Mix flour and baking powder; add alternately with milk.
- Pour batter into greased pan.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
