Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • cups sugar
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Mix flour and baking powder; add alternately with milk.
  5. Pour batter into greased pan.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
